CONTACT: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE RNK COMMUNICATIONS EXPANDS ITS NETWORK PRESENCE WITH ENTRY INTO WASHINGTON D.C. AND PENNSYLVANIA REGIONS. Dedham, MA (September 11, 2007) - RNK Communications, Inc., announced today that it is expanding its telecommunications network footprint along the East Coast. In August, RNK expanded its Mid-Atlantic coverage by opening a switching facility to serve all of LATA 236, which covers Washington D.C., Southern Maryland, and Northern Virginia. This Fall, RNK is planning to expand its network further by opening switching facilities in LATA 228. This will expand RNK's network to include coverage throughout Delaware and areas of Pennsylvania, including the Philadelphia region. "This recent expansion plan not only benefits our existing customer base, but enables us to offer an extended network of services, giving us a stronger and broader East Coast presence," said Sanford McMurtry, Vice President of Strategic Operations for RNK. This investment in the network will not only enhance existing telephony services, and decrease long-term costs, but it will enable RNK to increase its network capacity and reinforce its already high standard of network reliability. RNK will continue to provide cost-effective, high-quality data and voice communications products and services to an array of broadband providers, CLECs, ISPs, wireless providers, voip providers, cable providers, tier one international carriers, and entrepreneurs. |
